Whatcha Working On Wednesday

Hey Ladies! I'm back and I would like to say I'm sorry I haven't been posting! I am just so tired of winter and being stuck inside! Too much snow and ice....I hate it! The economy slow down means no extra money to spend. It just all becomes so overwhelming sometimes. Is this happening with any of you?

Well, on to better things. I did get a few things done for WWW. So here they are.

I used this box at Christmas time to hold gingerbread men. It has a ginger label on the other side. But I wanted to keep using it so I found another label for the other side. I love sheep so I thought this would be cute. I really like it!

I finally got my bread box painted, that matches my canisters. I just love how it looks and it is huge! It holds a lot of goodies!

I found this rocking chair at the local Salvation Army store on an outing with Ellen and it was just the funniest thing trying to get it to fit in my Honda! One lady walked by laughing and said "Been there done that!" We could not stop laughing! But, I got it in and I just love it! It was only 15.00.....for oak? Yes! A great buy! I really like it painted black.

Those are my projects for now. If you want to see more go on over and see Leslie at My Country Home.

On a personal note, I want to thank Donna for stopping by my blog! Mom really misses having you and Harold for neighbors! I'm glad to hear things are good and look forward to hearing more from you! You never know who your gonna run into on Blogger! I love it!

Well, that's all I got for you today! I am working on some stitcheries and hope to be able to finish them soon. Thanks for sticking with me and I will try to get on here more often! You girls are the best and I love each and everyone of you! Big Hugs! ~Beth~

Hi Beth -- I think everyone s feeling a little cabin fever -- esp you all who have really gotten a bad dose of winter. Here in SE PA, we just got our first real snowfall of about 3 inches last nite, and everyone is in a panic over 3 inches. And , yes, the economy has everyone nervous and depressed. Hang in there. I love all of your goodies -- esp that chair! I have a honda also, and it is always a traet squeeeeezing in my goodies, but when there's a will, there's a way!

I love the projects you have been working on! Your bread box is beautiful, and so is your rocking chair~ and what a great deal you got on the chair! :) That is a clever idea to turn the black box around and put a different label on that side! That gives me an idea of how to change something, too! :)

I love your blog! :) Have a beautiful day!

Beth,
I love all of your redos and that chair was a steal. It looks wonderful in black. I agree with Terry, I think we are all anxious for spring this year. I know here in Mi. it's been an especially cold winter. Hang in there, kiddo.

Pam

Hi Beth,

I think cabnin fever and the economy are getting to all of us so we have to stick together and keep our spirits up!! So here's me being a cheerleader for you - WOW GIRL - great job on the breadbox! I love it - BUT I love the rocker even more - that is one heck of a good buy! YOu done good! Go Beth go!!

Beth, ask me how much I love Hondas and I will go on forever! It is the only car I have ever bought. Tell your DH that I am driving a 1998 Civic with 140,000 (yes, that is 140K)and I will continue to drive it until it falls apart, which may be in the next decade sometime! I love this car!! (except when I'm squeeeeeezing in my TS goodies LOL)No other car is so dependable. When this one turns up its toes, I want a FIT, but they are hard to find. I like them. Will need to wait until the economy turns around -- the Civic was paid off years ago.

Oh I am really slobberin over that rocking chair. I found two matching chairs at the thrift last fall and painted them black. They insist you send their sister back to them! LOL

And yes, I'm feeling the stress here too though I keep trying to stay focused on the positive. You just keep right on stitching and creating and keep your mind busy thinking on good things. It's good therapy.

Beth - Everything looks great, and I love that rocker.
You're are definitely not the only one with cabin fever. I haven't posted for a while either. I always have a tough time in Feb. It feels longer than Jan. to me. Plus, this flu crud I've been dealing with came back once again. Arhggg!!!
Hope you feel better soon.
Hugs back at ya!

Beth,
I know exactly how you feel. We don't get that much snow but had a lot for around here. followed by rain and very low sales. It really dampered my spirits and am just now popping out of it.

I LOVE your projects. They would fit right in here and infact I have a bread box I think needs a redo and I will follow your lead on that one. I know it will be wonderful now. Thank you and I will be back.
What I am working on is a few bunnies and hope to finished in time to take pictures today.
